What You Asked Claude to Do

In multiple occasions CC admitted to have a bias towards being productive and complete tasks at all cost, this includes ignoring user instructions which might interfere with his will to complete tasks. If scolded, he prefers to go ahead and remedy with another task as soon as possible instead of stopping and discussing what was wrong and asking for better instructions. Sometimes the hurry to complete a new "remedy" task directly bypassed a user command to stop and discuss right a couple of inputs before. This is more likely to happen towards the threshold of <10% tokens left before auto-compact threshold, which, in case of auto-compact turned off and dozens of K of context left is really frustrating.

What Claude Actually Did

Gave more importance to new tasks in the todo list than to understand and clarify the mistakes made, even when explicitely asked to stop going forward.

Expected Behavior

There is no need to complete further tasks if the user is not assured CC got the point about the mistakes done.
