[BUG] Diff view in Jetbrains (Phpstorm) always steals focus from the active terminal while typing, leading to accidental approval/rejections.

Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

I don 't know if this belongs in Jetbrains or Claude Code as the bug report.

When using the terminal and it opens the Diff, which is a great feature, it always steals the focus from the terminals.

Ten times a day I am typing in the terminal and it steals focus suddenly and I hit some random key shortcut and approve or reject the edit before I even saw it. It's beyond frustrating.

Not sure what repository this feedback belongs in, I tried searching google and issues about it but was not able to find a pre-existing issue (though I expect one exists somewhere..)

What Should Happen?

The focus should not be automatically stolen.
