[Bug] /context command UI renders in statusline area instead of main viewport

Resolved 💬 3 comments Opened Jan 18, 2026 by anthony-ferraro Closed Jan 22, 2026

Bug Description
I was making some changes to the statusline with the /statusline command, and telling the agent how to change my statusline. I asked it to put my remaining context, git branch, and selected model in the status line

later I used the /context command, and the command output the context UI below the text input in the statusline area. it is extremely buggy and sometimes it doesn't show up at all.

I then undid the changes to my statusline and removed it entirely - however the /context issue showing in the incorrect location is still present
