Feature Request: Editable Video Titles with Source Links

Problem

Currently, imported Pexels videos in the Media Library show generic titles like "Pexels Video 30846614" and users cannot edit these titles to make them more descriptive. Additionally, there's no easy way to navigate back to the original Pexels source.

Requested Features

  1. Editable Titles
  • Allow users to click and edit video titles directly in the Media Library
  • Save edited titles to the backend/database
  • Preserve the custom title across sessions
  1. Source Attribution with Link
  • Display the video source (e.g., "Pexels", "YouTube", "Upload")
  • Show a clickable link that opens the original source URL
  • For Pexels videos: Link back to the original Pexels page
  • Maintain photographer attribution
  1. Enhanced UI/UX
  • Inline editing for titles (click to edit)
  • Visual indicator of video source with appropriate icons
  • External link icon for source links
  • Preserve all existing functionality (selection, filtering, etc.)

Current Behavior

  • Videos show generic titles like "Pexels Video 30846614"
  • No way to edit titles
  • Source information is buried in metadata
  • No easy way to return to original source

Expected Behavior

  • Click on title to edit inline
  • Clear source attribution with clickable link
  • Custom titles persist across sessions
  • Easy navigation back to original content

Technical Considerations

  • Update MediaBrowser component for inline editing
  • Modify backend API to support title updates
  • Ensure database schema supports custom titles
  • Maintain backward compatibility with existing media

Acceptance Criteria

  • [ ] Users can edit video titles by clicking on them
  • [ ] Edited titles are saved to the database
  • [ ] Source links are clickable and open original URLs
  • [ ] Source attribution is clearly visible
  • [ ] All existing media library functionality preserved
  • [ ] Works for all media types (Pexels, YouTube, uploads)

Priority

Medium - Enhances user experience for content organization and attribution
