Bug Description
Environment
- OS: macOS (Darwin 25.2.0, Apple Silicon arm64)
- Claude Code Version: 2.1.9
- Installation Method: Homebrew Cask
- BUT
npx @anthropic-ai/claude-codeworks!
Symptoms
- Running claude in a specific directory causes [1] 7975 trace trap claude error
- Exit code 133 (SIGTRAP)
- Crashes immediately with no log output, even with --debug flag
Root Cause
- Claude Code crashes during project scanning at startup while processing large number of files
