Feature Request

Use Case: Users who work extensively with Claude accumulate hundreds of conversation threads containing valuable context, decisions, and artifacts. Currently, extracting this history requires manual copy/paste from each individual chat.

Problem:

  • No bulk export capability from Claude.ai web interface
  • Users with 100+ conversations face hours of manual extraction
  • Valuable institutional knowledge trapped in individual chat threads
  • Copy/paste loses formatting and structure

Proposed Solution:
A bulk export feature in Claude.ai settings or conversation list that allows:

  1. Select multiple (or all) conversations
  2. Export to common formats (JSON, Markdown, plain text)
  3. Download as ZIP archive
  4. Include metadata (dates, titles, message counts)

Benefit:

  • Enables RAG/knowledge base ingestion of conversation history
  • Supports compliance/audit requirements
  • Facilitates context transfer between sessions
  • Reduces friction for power users

Workaround Today: Manual copy/paste per conversation - prohibitively time-consuming at scale.
