[BUG] v2.1.1 Prompt ❯ character unrenderable in PuTTY; v2.0.76 shows as > but v2.1.1 shows �

What's Wrong?

In PuTTY, I see this ? character now at the start of the prompt:

What Should Happen?

I should see this, like in 2.0.x:
