[FEATURE] Stack Overflow Mode

Problem Statement

When touching a new codebase I don't want to use claude to do the programming work initially but I want to leverage it's ability to look at the codebase and write temporary on-the-fly scripts that pinpoint important information.

Proposed Solution

I would like to have a "Stack Overflow" mode for Claude. That is, be able to do anything but not change the system / filesystem at all except for temporary folders. I would like this as an alternative to PLAN and BUILD.
