[Bug] Claude Code enters infinite loop scanning repository in extended sessions

Bug Description
how do i stop claude code from getting the zoomies '/Users/exceedsai/Desktop/zoomies.mp4' in a longer session some of these steps appear to scan teh entire repo, sometimes endlessly, until it crashes. i'm using CC in Cursor and try to clean the logs so there's enough memory. but this happens often.

i'm sure this is a user error as i'm an amateur, but everything feels fragile in a long session.
