[BUG] Slow fresh install eating RAM

What's Wrong?

First time installing Claude Code and it's slow + increasingly eating out my RAM with 600MB at the start that rose with time to 20GB all while having the same display in the terminal:

curl -fsSL https://claude.ai/install.sh | bash
Setting up Claude Code...

Installing Claude Code native build latest...

What Should Happen?

Claude Code gets installed in a matter of seconds with no crazy RAM usage.
