[BUG] Folder selector in Spotlight/menu bar doesn't change working directory

What's Wrong?

Description
When launching Claude Code via Spotlight and selecting a folder from the dropdown menu at the top of the window, the working directory doesn't actually change to the selected folder.

2.0.58 (Claude Code)
macOS
Claude Code launched via Spotlight
UI shows folder selector dropdown but selection has no effect

What Should Happen?

Claude continues to work in a different directory (appears to be the last used worktree or default directory), ignoring the folder selection from the UI.

Steps to Reproduce

Launch Claude Code via Spotlight
Use the folder dropdown menu at the top to select a different project folder
Ask Claude to show current working directory or perform file operations
Expected behavior
Claude should work in the folder selected from the dropdown menu.
