[BUG] Stuck in Checking connectivity when I start

What's Wrong?

When I start Claude Code in the terminal (claude), it gets stuck on "Checking connectivity" and never proceeds. I cannot run any commands.

What Should Happen?

Claude should start normally and allow me to execute commands in the terminal without being stuck.

Steps to Reproduce

Install Claude Code CLI (npm install -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code)

Run claude in terminal

Observe that it gets stuck on "Checking connectivity"
