[Bug] Linux: stty ioctl error when stdin is not a TTY

Bug Description
On Linux, I often see the following error message: stty: 'standard input': Inappropriate ioctl for device
This message doesn't appear to effect functionality. It is just an error message that gets displayed periodically.

  • Platform: linux
  • Terminal: gnome-terminal
  • Version: 2.0.76
