[FEATURE] Notification in Claude VS Code extension

Problem Statement

I'm using Claude VS Code extension, it's already great but when I launch a Claude chat, it can take some time to respond so I usually switch to another task while it's thinking. The problem is that I don't know how much time it will take to finish and/or if it will ask for permission for example. As a result, I can loose a lot of time during the day in this "context switching" flow.

Proposed Solution

It would be nice to get notified (native notification of Mac / Linux) when Claude finished to respond or when Claude asks for a user action (allow action, etc).
I think it could speed up a lot development time.
