[BUG] Output rendering bug - text cut off at beginning of lines (Windows 11, v2.0.73)

What's Wrong?

Text at the beginning of output lines is being cut off/not displayed. Also seeing random large gaps between prompt and response. Issue persists across Windows Terminal and VS Code terminal.

Tried:

• Reinstalling CLI (npm uninstall -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code + npm install)
• Clearing npm cache
• Running in different terminals (Windows Terminal, VS Code, CMD)
• System file repair (sfc /scannow found and repaired corrupted files)
• Rebooting
• - Tested on a completely different computer (sister's PC) and the bug persists there too

Issue improved slightly after system repair but still present.

System info:

• OS: Windows 11 Pro (10.0.22621)
• CLI version: 2.0.73
• Machine: HP EliteDesk 800 G5 SFF
• CPU: Intel 6th gen ~3GHz
• RAM: 16GB

What Should Happen?

Output text should display completely from the beginning of each line, without being cut off. No random large gaps between prompt and response.

Error Messages/Logs

No error messages. Visual rendering issue only.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Windows Terminal or VS Code terminal
2. Run claude
3. Send any message (e.g. "tell me a story")
4. Observe that the beginning of output lines is cut off and there are random large gaps in the response
