[BUG] Significant False Conversation Lagg

What's Wrong?

Using latest within VS code, SSH to Virtual Machine.

1. I create a to-do list in a conversation and the agent starts delivering code. (Conversation 1)
2. I notice its taking a long time to respond so I open up another conversation (Conversation 2) and resume Conversation 1. It is multiple steps ahead or even completed.
3. I watch Conversation 1 and it takes 30+ minutes to get to the exact same response as what I'm seeing in Conversation 2.

What Should Happen?

I wouldn't expect the conversation saved into the backend to be this significantly ahead of what im seeing in claude code (not the terminal)
