Claude Code (Bun-based) crashes with SIGILL (illegal instruction) on Intel i7-5930K
What Should Happen?
Claude Code (or dependencies) should properly detect available CPU instruction sets.

Looking at my logs, the crashes started to appear on 12/10. I have reverted to v2.0.62, which was released on 12/9. I then had Claude resume its work that was causing the crashes. Claude completed all tasks without any issues. So, stating the obvious, the problems were introduced after v2.0.62
On my processor, the specific instructions that cause the fault are intended for the AVX-512 set.
ping! PLEASE - i'm kinda dead in the water! (and no! i'm not gonna upgrade my hardware! i can't -- i'm poor AF - did i say PLEASE yet? - seriously, this tool has become invaluable to me! some attention to this would be so wholly appreciated! 😃
