[FEATURE] Custom auto-compact prompt

Problem Statement

I turned off auto-compact because it wouldn't save the right context for my workflows and would forget key information.

Now, when I reach limits, I run /compact <my custom prompt> and it works pretty well! But it creates a lot of friction in my workflow.

Proposed Solution

I would prefer if I could just customize auto-compact to use my prompt.

Perhaps this could work by overriding the /compact command?

Alternative Solutions

Or - perhaps a user could create an agent skill intended to run "before auto-compact"?
