[Feature Request] Add session limit warning and graceful termination with resumable checkpoints

Bug Description
So you guys REALLY need to think through the experience of hitting session limits; last night I was literally half way through executing a plan when you cut me off. and now this morning Claude is messing things up seriously. we were on a great track last night only to have no way to put our work in a good state before locking down the session. If you're not going to be gracious and let claude finish what its working on and then terminate the session, you need to warn us at 98% or something and claude should offer to park the current effort leaving notes so it can resume nicely later. This is the biggest issue I have with this tool. Cursor lets you go over but switching to a different model. I don't see why you guys can do the same since you own the models!
