[BUG] Loss of critical context leading to unsolicited changes and broken working code.

Resolved 💬 3 comments Opened Nov 16, 2025 by aluisco Closed Jan 18, 2026

Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

  1. Simple task: Migrate only the Fyne UI to Wails, keeping the backend intact.
  2. Problem: Context summary deletes critical technical information from the original code.
  3. Result: Functional code is rewritten, features are broken, and there is widespread regression.
  4. Impact: Loss of time, money, and project progress.
  5. Frequency: This has happened twice in the same project.

What Should Happen?

The expected result should be that everything migrates correctly and that when it compacts the context, it takes into account the key points that were told, such as not touching the backend.
