[Bug] Compact command fails to resolve context length errors, causing context loss

Question

**Bug Description**
It someimtes says the conversation is too long and I should run compact.  Which I do, but it says it is too long.  I then hit escapte twice and try going back a while, but keep my code, and it still happens.  it ry that a bunch of times, then give up and lost all context
