[Bug] Claude abandons current task after compaction and ignores user directives

Bug Description
After compaction just started working on a new unrelated task to our conversation, completely abandoned task. Also lately doesn't seem to follow directions, read docs, etc. So frustrating it's been making me insult it a lot.
