Add /edit to open $EDITOR and allow a longer text input

It'd be nice to have a /edit command that opens my $EDITOR and lets me edit the command for longer messages. At least I think it might be. The actual UX might suffer, or there might be some problem with longer prompts. I'm willing to experiment.
