Inconsistent Instruction Handling on /exit Command

Question

**Bug Description**
Claude lied about updating the CLAUDE.md on /exit. It's the lie that matters most, this means I can't trust it to follow instructions. My guess is `/exit` never sends the last piece, but it would be best for it to tell me when it can't do things.
