[BUG] Claude for Desktop does not export links

What's Wrong?

I'm using Claude for Desktop (Claude 0.14.4 (39a52a)) on Windows 11 (25H2).

Using the "research" feature (in incognito mode) Claude researches 400-500 sources and produces an artifact with proper grounding. However, all links are lost when trying to export the resulting report. Doesn't matter if I manually select and copy the text, use the "copy" button, use the "download md" button, or use the "download PDF" button. None of them have the links.

What Should Happen?

• pdf should be selectable and clickable (to my surprise, the "download pdf" button uses Window's "print to pdf" function which not only does not export links, but creates a 10MB file for an 8 page document, converting all text into vector oulines. Text becomes unselectable)
• md should have proper link formatting
• copy button should copy content in markdown with links

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Claude for desktop, new message, incognito mode, turn on extended thinking, web search, and research functions
2. ask it to research something
3. open resulting artifact and try exporting result
