[BUG] Android app: file downloads stay "Queued" forever
Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
Device: Samsung (One UI), Android, Claude app (latest from Play Store).
Steps: in a Claude session, Claude sends a file (e.g. a .patch) to the chat. I tap the file card → preview opens → Download → "Download started" toast → "Complete action using" (Files / My Files). In Files → Downloads the file shows as "Queued" and never completes.
It worked earlier the same day (several .patch files downloaded fine around 12:30 local time); from ~13:15 every download stays Queued, also older files that downloaded before.
Tried: phone restart (twice), Wi-Fi and 5G, Claude app clear cache and clear data + log in again, Download Manager (system app) settings checked (enabled, background data allowed) + clear data + restart. Nothing helps.
Downloads from Chrome on the same phone work, so the system network is fine; only downloads handed over by the Claude app hang in the Download Manager queue.
Screen recording available.
What Should Happen?
Work properly as before without wasting my tokens and time.
