Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

After updating Claude Desktop to the latest version, sessions in the Pinned section of the Code tab sidebar no longer display the PR status icon (open / merged / etc.).

Non-pinned sessions (e.g. under Paused and Recent) still show the PR/branch icon with its count correctly, so the PR data is clearly available — it's only the pinned rows that don't render it.

Pinned rows now show a </> icon on the left and nothing on the right, which suggests pinned sessions are using a different row component that doesn't include the PR badge.

What Should Happen?

Pinned sessions should show the PR status icon, as they did in the previous version. Pinned sessions are usually the ones I'm actively tracking, so seeing at a glance whether their PR is open or merged is especially useful there.

Error Messages/Logs

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Have a Code session with an associated PR.
  2. Pin the session.
  3. Observe the Pinned section: no PR status icon.
  4. Unpin the same session: the PR status icon appears in the regular list.
