Bug Description
The "Compacted while idle, before the prompt cache expired" is an absolute nightmare. My workflow changed from: Coming in in the morning and continuing a session to: Tell it to reconstruct a handoff document for itself based on transcripts and other sources, then I take the handoff file and restart a new session and do this for all dozens of terminals I have open. In other words, an absolute NIGHTMARE of a feature. It's worse that it was enabled without me asking, but alas.
