[Feature Request] Desktop split view: new session should open in the focused pane

In the desktop app's Code tab split view (e.g. a 2×2 grid), creating a new session always places it in the first (top-left) pane, regardless of which pane is currently focused. To get it where I want, I have to drag it from the sidebar afterward.
Requested
- When split view is active, "New session" should open in (replace) the focused pane rather than the first pane.
- Alternatively, add a "+" button to each pane's header, next to the terminal / changes / browser icons, that starts a new session in that pane.
