Bug Description
False positive: Opus 5.5 cyber safeguards blocking legitimate security work I'm a Staff Cloud Security Engineer working in information security. In Claude Code, I asked Opus 5.5 to look at a folder with my personal pentest study materials, and the session was paused with the [cyber] flag. This was legitimate, defensive and educational use. Security professionals need to study offensive techniques to protect the environments we are responsible for, and reviewing that material is a core part of the job, not an edge case. What would help: 1. Fewer false positives for study, lab and defensive contexts. 2. A clearer explanation of what triggered the block, so I can tell whether it was the files or the request. 3. A clear path and timeline for individual security professionals to join the Cyber Verification Program for Opus 5.5. I use Claude daily and would like to keep using it for my security work. But if I can't rely on it for that, I will have to evaluate other AI tools that support this kind of work. Thanks for looking into it.
