Let projects pre-approve device connection for new threads
Product: Claude Projects (claude.ai) with Claude Code cloud threads + Remote Control on my Mac
What happens:
Almost every new cloud thread in my project shows the card "Allow Claude to connect to your device in this thread" (Deny / Allow). I have to approve it again in each thread, many times a day. Several times the card spun or the thread then reported it "couldn't link your Mac to this thread" even after I allowed it.
Why it's a problem:
My Mac's folders are already approved for this project (Remote Control sessions started from the project chat open with no card). The per-thread card adds friction without adding safety, and threads sit blocked until I notice and click it.
What I'd like:
- A project setting: "New threads may connect to my approved devices/folders without asking" (with the folder list as the boundary).
- Or at least "remember for this project" on the card.
- If the connection fails after Allow, the card should say so clearly instead of spinning.
Environment: Claude desktop/iOS app, private project, Mac "studio" with Remote Control, model Opus 5.5.
