[Bug] Terminal display flicker after /clear command

Bug Description

Bug Report: Terminal Display Issues After /clear Command

Issue: When using the /clear command to reset or start a new chat, the terminal exhibits erratic display behavior during task implementation.

Symptoms: The terminal slider rapidly scrolls up and down for several seconds before stabilizing. The visual effect resembles the rolling interference pattern you'd see on a tube TV with a faulty or broken RF cable.

Frequency: Occurs consistently every time the /clear command is used.

Reproduction Steps:

1. Use /clear command to reset chat
2. Provide new tasks to Claude Code
3. Observe terminal during task implementation

Expected Behavior: Smooth, stable terminal output during task execution.

Actual Behavior: Terminal slider oscillates rapidly (up/down) for a few seconds, creating a disorienting visual effect, then returns to normal operation.
