[FEATURE] claude.ai account API for agents: list, create and manage Projects, move docs, edit preferences
Concerns claude.ai (web/app) with Cowork tools, not the CLI.
Need. A user running Claude autonomously across many claude.ai Projects needs Claude to manage the account it works in:
- List the user's Projects.
- Create a Project.
- Read and write docs in any Project (not only the one the session started in), and move or copy docs between Projects.
- Edit the user's own preferences and Project settings.
- Rename sessions and scheduled tasks.
Today. None of this has a supported tool. The in-session Projects tool is bound to one Project. The only route is driving the user's own logged-in claude.ai through a browser, and since the Chat/Cowork merge that route is hard-stopped by safety classifiers (see #100730, four instances on 9 Oct 2026, including a read-only listing of the user's own Projects at his explicit request).
Ask. First-party, permissioned tools for these actions, scoped to the signed-in user, with an approval prompt where appropriate, so agents stop scraping the web UI.
