[Feature Request] Expand and edit collapsed pasted text in prompt input
Bug Description
Feature request: let me expand and edit collapsed pasted text in the prompt input │
│ │
│ I use a voice dictation app (Typeless) that inserts text into Claude Code by pasting. When the dictated text is a bit long, Claude Code collapses it into a placeholder like [Pasted text #1 +N lines]. I can't see or edit the content anymore. To fix one wrong word, I have to delete the whole block and dictate it all again. │
│ │
│ This happens to me every day. Voice input often has small recognition errors, so being able to fix them before sending matters a lot. │
│ │
│ What I'd like: │
│ - Expand a collapsed paste inline (for example, move the cursor onto it and press a key, or click it) so I can edit the full text, and collapse it again afterwards. │
│ - A setting to turn off paste collapsing, or to raise the length threshold. │
│ │
│ Current workarounds (sending a correction as a follow-up message, or editing the text somewhere else before pasting) work, but they're clunky. │
│ │
│ Environment: macOS, Claude Code CLI in the terminal, Typeless voice input.
