What happened
In a private project, Claude told me my Mac was offline when it wasn't. On Oct 5 around 11:55am PT I asked for a change in a thread running as a Remote Control session on my Mac. Claude replied in the project chat that "your Mac is offline, so the change waits until it reconnects." My Mac was connected and active at the time, and the Remote Control session on it was running normally. When I pushed back, Claude corrected itself a minute later and said the session had been on my Mac all along. It appears the coordinator got a stale "device offline" status when relaying a message to the thread, even though the session's live status showed it connected. Expected: Claude should report the device as offline only when it actually is.
